| Woodbury Green South Woodbury, CT The desire of the client was to develop a five building, 45,000 square foot commercial development on a 16 acre property in the heart of Woodbury that would maximize its value, while also keeping it in character with the town's rural roots. CIVIL 1's extensive knowledge of advanced planning techniques and stormwater management solutions resulted in a design that met the desires of both the client and the Town. The property is located within the aquifer protection district within the town of Woodbury. CIVIL 1 worked with the Northwest Conservation District, the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, and several professional environmental consultants to design a state of the art stormwater management plan. The plan included many advanced "green" methods of collecting and treating stormwater in order to protect the drinking water for the town and its residents. |
