| Hesseky Views Woodbury, CT This 100 acre residential subdivision was unique because of the large size of the property. To create the feel of two smaller neighborhoods instead of one large subdivision, CIVIL 1 designed 21 building lots using two separate country lane roads, totaling 2,700 linear feet. Services provided included site civil services, parking, storm drainage, and water quality facilities. In this project, a strong emphasis was placed on environmental protection and preservation by creating conservation areas and larger lot sizes for the residents. Many exceptional natural features of the property were maintained within the design through in-depth knowledge of the planning process. An abandoned gravel mine on the site was also restored to its natural state and donated to the Town of Woodbury as open space. |
